Keeping the Promise for Dads?
Thanks to all those who came to our event in Gorgie on 12th June.
Our speakers were:
Cathy Sexton, from Father’s Network Scotland who talked about what’s been achieved and what the challenges are; Professor Anna Tarrant, who spoke about her research on young fathers experiences and especially stigma and poverty. We had breakout workshops to discuss the emerging themes and our panel Prof Anna Tarrant, Cathy Sexton, Thomas Lynch, Douglas Guest, Colin MacFarlane took questions and followed up with next steps for collaborative working and championing Dads.
