It’s time to get back into a routine after all the summer fun! Join us at Dads Rock for playgroups, workshops and more.

GROUPS
Join us in Edinburgh every Saturday and Sunday at 10am at Gorgie Mem and Glasgow every Saturday at 10am at Easterhouse Sports Centre. These are the perfect place to meet other Dads and connect with your wee one through play, song and stories, run by our Family Workers, Greg, Maddy and Amy. This playgroup is open to all Dads/male carers and children under 5.
Our Dads and Baby Groups are every Tuesday at 18:30 at Gorgie Mem, Edinburgh and every Wednesday at 18:30 at Ardeer Neighbourhood Centre Creche, Stevenston. These groups are open to all Dads and babies under 1, and is the perfect place to connect with your baby, meet other Dads and get some friendly advice from our staff Greg and Ryan.

September 28th - Dads Trip: Dean Castle Country Park Join us as we explore the castle and grounds with animals, buggy friendly walks, a playpark and cafe! Sign up: Castle
PARENTING WORKSHOPS
First Aid: Come along to a First Aid workshop specifically for Dads and Mums (please don’t bring babies or children). Facilitated by the good people of 'First Stop Safety Training'. It’s on 2nd September, 7pm at Easterhouse Sports Centre so book here: FirstAid
Hairstyle Workshop: Just for Dads to learn how to gain practical skills in how to plait and put up hair. To join us on 7th September in Gorgie, sign up here: hair
Dads Antenatal Workshops: This workshop is open to all Dads. The objective is to get hands-on experience and advice prior to the birth of a child.
We will have 2 Antenatal Workshops during the month of Septemeber. The first workshop will be held on September 9th online at 7pm. Then at the Gorgie Mem in Edinburgh on 19th September from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A third workshop will be held on September 25th at the Easterhouse Sports Center in Glasgow, also from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. click the links to sign up!

August ROUNDUP
It’s been a busy month with trips Kilwinning Fire station, the International Book Festival where told some stories and met the Gruffalo, the awesome ‘Children are Stinky’ show which got a double thumbs up from our families, and a trip to the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow.

We had amazing support from staff and families from Arcadia@Kings Edinburgh who were celebrating their 10th Anniversary and held a fundraising event for us.
