GROUPS
Join us in Edinburgh every Saturday and Sunday at 10am at Gorgie Mem and Glasgow every Saturday at 10am at Easterhouse Sports Centre. These are the perfect place to meet other Dads and connect with your wee one through play, song and stories, run by our Family Workers, Greg, Maddy and Amy. This playgroup is open to all Dads/male carers and children under 5.
Our Dads and Baby Groups are every Tuesday at 18:30 at Gorgie Mem, Edinburgh and every Wednesday at 18:30 at Ardeer Neighbourhood Centre Creche, Stevenston. These groups are open to all Dads and babies under 1, and is the perfect place to connect with your baby, meet other Dads and get some friendly advice from our staff Greg and Ryan.
TRIPS
No trips this month as we’ll be hosting Halloween parties in Edinburgh and Glasgow instead! Put on your best costume and join us on Saturday 26th October at 10am - 12 noon! 🦸🧛♂️👨🚒
PARENTING WORKSHOPS
First Aid: Come along to a First Aid workshop specifically for Dads and Mums (please don’t bring babies or children). Facilitated by the good people of 'First Stop Safety Training'. It’s on 10th October, 7pm at Gorgie Mem so book here: FirstAid
Dads Antenatal Workshops: This workshop is open to all Dads. The objective is to get hands-on experience and advice prior to the birth of a child.
We will have 2 Antenatal Workshops during the month of October. The first workshop will be held on 17th October at the Gorgie Mem in Edinburgh from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on 21st October online at 7pm. Click the links to sign up!

September ROUNDUP
This month’t trips were all about Castles as we went along to Stirling Castle and Dean Castle with families for some great days out. We’re also really grateful to the amazing families who were raising funds for us at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk and Glasgow Zipslide 🙌👏 Thank you to everyone who took part and donated!
In September we became proud partners for the national campaign for better Paternity leave. We know that better paternity leave is good for the whole family and our economy. You can find out more about it here: Dad Shift
Lots of families came to join our groups and workshops throughout the month and we’ve popped some photos below. We also had visitors from Pregnant then Screwed and Education Scotland who came along to talk to our dads!
We had amazing support from staff and families from Busy Bees MidLothian Newbyres who held a fundraising sponsored walk event for us and Child Bereavement UK raising over £1,500 for each charity.
A team of volunteers from Natwest Group RBS Gogarburn came along to Gorgie Mem at the beginning of the month. They were a huge help with some building and garden maintenance, cleaning and sorting some of our equipment and delivering some leaflets in the local area. We’re also grateful to staff from ITRS Group Edinburgh who came to help with some leafleting.
