JULY ROUNDUP
Even though July was a holiday month, Dads Rock continued to pour support and love into all of our actions and activities and we’ve posted some photos below.
This month our Dads Trip took our playgroups outdoors! Led by our Family Workers, Greg and Amy, Dads and their kids in both Edinburgh and Glasgow went out and had fun with some forest activities.
We had an awesome team from Diligenta come along to do some gardening and paint the front door.
Andrew came along to our Glasgow playgroup from the financial inclusion team handing out helpful info and contacts for anyone struggling financially.
You might have met Jared who has been helping out as our international intern this summer all the way from Hampton University USA.
Amy has been working with one of our young dads who was struggling with bedtime for his wee one and now goes to sleep unattended. (If you need support with this we have our next sleep workshop coming up on August 19th.
Maddy has been recruiting new peer support volunteers for our Perinatal Support project - if you’d be interested in supporting new dads take a look here: PS
Our Playgroups, run by Family Workers Amy, Maddy and Greg, still continued strong! Look at how much fun these kids have!
