Whats On for Dads in February?
February kicks off with National Storytelling Week! We’ll be sharing some stories on our socials but you can come and hear one at our Playgroups that take place on Saturday (Edinburgh and Glasgow) and Sunday (Edinburgh) from 10-11:30am. They’re free for all Dads and children ages 0-5.
On the 1st of the month, we’ll be holding our first Sleep Workshop of the year! This is a fantastic opportunity to discuss any sleep issues your wee one is having with a trained expert. You’ll learn how to create a successful bedtime routine, and find out the importance of sleep in a fun and interactive setting. This workshop will be held online - sign up here.
If you’re expecting a new baby our February Antenatal Workshops are in Glasgow (15th), Online (19th) and Edinburgh (20th). These 2 hour workshops allow Dads to learn about feeding, sleeping, bathing and nappies. It’s a very chilled out and interactive workshop where Dads can ask any questions they have about their little ones.
Our NEW North Ayrshire Baby Group is on every Wednesday in Stevenson, 6:30-7:30 - sign up here! Free for all new Dads with babies under 1 to come for a cuppa and chat.

We’ve some exciting Dads Trips planned on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th. Join us to explore all things transport - from skateboards to locomotives - at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow on Saturday 24th. In Edinburgh we’re going for a fun morning out in Saughton Park both Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th. Trips take place at the end of every month and are open to Dads and children age 0-8. Did you make a new year's resolution to get fitter in 2024? Maybe setting yourself a goal will help you stick with it? We can offer free places in all the Kiltwalk events with a choice of challenge from 3 miles up to 23 depending on where you take part! January Roundup
Dads Rock welcomed two new team members at the start of January! Theo and Shannon joined us from Edinburgh Napier University on their placements to help us out with finance and marketing and it’s great to have them on board.
Workshops in January included Antenatal, First Aid, and Hairstyling - future dates and sign up details can be found on our website.
Our Dads went to the National Museum of Scotland and Kelvingrove Museum for their trips. Thirty two families joined us over the weekend for a fun get-together where Dads and wee ones went on a self-guided tour, exploring art, history, animals and more!
