What’s on for Dads?
The month of July holds a lot of exciting events and activities that the Dads Rock team is thrilled to share with you!
We are excited to announce that your music-loving child (aged 7-14) can sign up for Dads Rock Academy this summer where they can work with highly trained music tutors and write their own songs. Our thanks go to City of Edinburgh Council Pentands Area for a Community Grant that has made this possible. Summer camp is held during the first two weeks of July in Edinburgh, if you are interested sign up here: Dads Rock Academy.
We’ve got three great antenatal workshops this month. Join us for our online workshop on 4th July: Antenatal Online, in Edinburgh on 19th July: Antenatal Edin, and in Glasgow on 20th July: Antenatal Glas.
Calling all Dads from Edinburgh and Glasgow, join us on Saturdays for “Dads in the Woods” where you and your wee one can explore and connect with nature. Sign up here: Dads in the Woods, Edin and Dads in the Woods, Glas. On Sundays you can connect with other Dads while making long-lasting memories with your kids at our Edinburgh playgroup. Edinburgh Kiltwalk:
We’re putting a team together for Kiltwalk Edinburgh! #TeamDadsRock will be taking part in the Wee Wander on 17th September- a family friendly 5 miles that's good for pushchairs and you can even bring the dog. If you pledge to raise £50 we’ll give you a free place too. All the funds you raise will come directly to us including all eligible gift aid (up to 25% extra). June Roundup
June was one busy month! Thanks to your help Dads Rock wrapped up our Fathers Day raffle raising a whopping £865! We also picked a big winner for the Dads Joke competition. Congrats to Kyle Andrew on an award winning dad joke.😆

We also held our Fathers Day takeover at Saughton Park, a successful day full of laughs, games, family-time, and food! Thank you to everyone who came along!
Our Dads Rock Academy end of year show was incredible. Showcasing the amazing talent of our students and what they’ve learnt throughout the year. If you want to sign up with your kids next year take a look here: DRA.
Additionally, we hosted a variety of activities, including workshops, such as Sleep, First aid, Dads Antenatal, Hairstyling, group sessions including Dads in the Woods, a new dad chat online, Kids in the Wood forest school, Glasgow Dads night out, and of course our Sunday Playgroup.
