May has been an exciting and eventful month for the Dads Rock team!
Throughout the month of May, Dad Rock has been buzzing with activity. We've organised a variety of workshops and group sessions, both online and in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Antenatal classes have been a great resource for expectant fathers, providing them with valuable information and support. In Edinburgh, parents had the opportunity to learn life saving skills in First Aid workshops (coming to Glasgow in June). Parents with older children attended the last online sessions to our enlightening "Raising Teens with Confidence" course.
But that's not all! Dad Rock had something special going on for dads and children attending our Sunday playgroup. LifewithArt hosted exciting arts workshops where creativity flourished, strengthening the bond between fathers and their little artists. And for those who love nature and the outdoors, Dad Rock’s "Dads in the Wood" sessions ran in Edinburgh and Glasgow. These adventures in the wilderness allow dads and children to connect with nature while creating lasting memories together. Not to mention the most fun the dads had at our dads trip at the fire station in Edinburgh and Botanic Gardens in Glasgow. As well as our Dads night out at the end of the month for dads to enjoy.

Father's Day Joke Competition
In the spirit of Father's Day, Dads Rock has launched a quest to find Scotland's best dad joke. If you're a dad with a knack for humour, this is your chance to shine! You can take part in the competition by submitting your best dad joke in either video or written format via email, message, or their social media channels. All submitted jokes will be shared on Dad Rock's social media platforms in a fun competition where followers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourites. The winners of the dad joke competition will be announced on Father's Day, and to make the day even more memorable, Dad Rock has organised a Family Takeover event at Saughton Park. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 18th, and come join the festivities! The event promises a day filled with games, circus activities, and lots of fun. Pack a picnic, bring your loved ones, and enjoy a delightful celebration of fatherhood in the beautiful surroundings of Saughton Park. FathersDayTickets

June is looking as busy as ever. With a variety of activities and workshops planned, such as, Sleep workshop, Dads Antenatal session in Edinburgh and Glasgow, a Hairstyling workshop in Glasgow, Dads in the Wood in Edinburgh and Glasgow, a new dad chat online, the final sessions of our 8 week Kids in the Wood forest school and our Glasgow Dads night out.
