January Round up!
A great start to 2023!
New year started with a bang as we headed into a full programme of playgroups and workshops in Edinburgh, Glasgow and online, and welcomed over 80 dads and children.
Rounding off the month with Dads Trips to Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, this allowed fathers to interact with one another and have fun with their children on a short stroll through the gardens and the museum.
This year we held our first PS Dads Rock group chat. PS Dads Rock is the first and only national programme in Scotland to help fathers who believe their mental health might be improved throughout the perinatal stage, which lasts from the moment you find out you're going to be a father until your child turns one. We pair new dads with more seasoned peer support volunteers to provide emotional support at this pivotal period in their lives.
February is equally busy with workshops including antenatal and sleep (check out our sleep video here: zzzz), a Dad Chat session with LGBT Health, playgroups and trips at the end of the month. Keep and eye on our calendar for details: calendar
