July Round Up!
Schools out for Summer! But that means we’ve been as busy as ever with our playgroups, Dads in the Wood, workshops and Dads Rock Academy summer camp.
Dads Rock July Activities
We had lots of fun in Glasgow this month with Dads in the Wood every weekend at Cunigar Loop and our Edinburgh playgroups were on every weekend too.
We were thrilled to welcome Baby Borthwick to #TeamDadsRock! Huge congratulations to our Greg and family following the birth of their baby girl. I’m sure some of you will get to meet her in the woods some time!
For the first time ever we had antenatal workshops going on in Edinburgh and Glasgow at the same time - congratulations to all the Dads2Be! We also held our popular hairstyle workshop in Glasgow and online workshops for feeding and antenatal.
We said goodbye to Megan, our awesome marketing student who joined us from Edinburgh Napier university on a six month placement, and hello to Julia, our first overseas student all the way from Canada.

We’re taking some families on a trip to a fringe show (sorry now fully booked)
buggy walks are back on Wednesdays
you can join us for the International Book Festival where we’re telling stories on 13th August
the new term starts on Tuesday 30th and you can learn music with us at Dads Rock Academy

Fundraising events!
We’ve got 3 exciting events for you to join #TeamDadsRock over the next 6 months!
First up is the Kiltwalk - we love having a team take part every year and we’d love you to join our team! You can choose from Dundee on 21st August and Edinburgh on 18th September and all your sponsorship receives an amazing 50% top up from The Hunter Foundation.
For the more adventurous amongst you, we've got our FireWalk on Saturday 3rd December in Edinburgh. Join #TeamDadsRock and bravely walk the hot coals to help raise vital funds. You'll learn the art of Firewalking and the science behind it and leave feeling inspired!
Finally, for the ultimate adrenaline rush, why not try our Abseil? Join us on 12th March 2023 at the iconic Falkirk Wheel to abseil 100ft off the world’s only rotating boat lift - and don’t forget to admire the view on the way down!
