May Round Up!
After our break over the Easter weekend, and a quieter April, the Dads Rock team was eager to get back into the swing of things, with playgroups, online and face-to-face workshops (in both Edinburgh and Glasgow), marathons, and much more.
Dads Rock May Activities
On the 28th & 29th of May we visited Vogrie Park for our Dads Trip. We had a lot of fun exploring the park, doing some pond dipping, and sitting on the giant seats. We even found some tadpoles in the pond!

Our very own Thomas ran the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Half Marathon in support of Dads Rock, and he managed to raise a whopping £270! Congratulations Thomas, and thank you to everyone who donated to him! There’s still time to sponsor Thomas and help him raise even more for Dads Rock! Sponsor Thomas

We were shortlisted for the Scottish Charity Awards this month in the Community Action category! A massive thank you to everyone who voted for us in the People’s Choice Award - Keep your fingers crossed for us on the 15th of June.

On the 28th of June our Dads Rock Academy students will be having their end of year show. They’ve been working extremely hard to put on a great performance for everyone! If you’re interested in learning an instrument alongside your child why not join our award winning music tuition next term? More information can be found here!

Our FREE Father’s Day event is on the 19th of June at Tynecastle Stadium 10am-1pm, we hope to see you all there.

Calling all daredevils!
We're delighted to have places in two exciting sponsored events and we're looking for thrill seeking supporters to take part!
First up we have a FireWalk on Saturday 3rd December 2022 in Edinburgh. Join #TeamDadsRock and bravely walk the hot coals to help raise vital funds. You'll learn the art of Firewalking and the science behind it and leave feeling inspired!
If FireWalking isn't your thing, we've also got places in the Falkirk Wheel Abseil on Sunday 12th March 2023! Taking place at the iconic Falkirk Wheel, abseil 100ft off the world’s first, and only, rotating boat lift, enjoying spectacular views from the top of the wheel and an adrenaline rush as you abseil down!
