Dads Rock at the National Museum of Scotland
We had lots of fun visiting the National Museum of Scotland on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th November for our Dads Trip. There were lots of interactive exhibits to keep the kids entertained and of course we finished with story time! We'll be organising more Dads Trips in 2023, so keep an eye on our calendar and social media for updates!

As the weather got more wintery, we decided to pause our Dads in the Woods sessions in Glasgow and started an indoor playgroup at Easterhouse Parish Church. Our final Glasgow playgroup of 2022 is happening on Saturday 3rd December and there's still time to book your place and join us: Glasgow Playgroup

Welcome to #TeamDadsRock!
We were pleased to welcome two new Social Work students, Eleanor and Rebecca, on placement from the University of Edinburgh. They're on placement with us until Easter and will be supporting some of our Young Dads in Edinburgh & Lothians.
Christmas Appeal
Our Dads Rock Christmas Party is back for 2022. It’s specially for our regular playgroup families and we’re looking forward to welcoming some of our Young Dad families along too. Complete with festive activities, snacks and of course a visit from Santa, we want to make sure that every child who comes to our Christmas Party has a magical time and that they leave with a Christmas gift.
We know that the cost of living crisis is affecting many families, but if you can, please donate to our Christmas Appeal to help us put on an amazing Christmas Party for our families.
We’ll be delighted if we manage to raise enough to cover the costs for the party and put smiles on our families faces and anything we manage to raise over and above this will be used to support more Dads and families through our services in 2023.
Coming Up
Our final Playgroups for 2022 are happening this weekend in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We also have our online Sleep Workshop on Monday 5th and in person Dads Antenatal in Glasgow (12th December) and Edinburgh (14th December). Check out our calendar for a full list of what’s on in December!
DRA Carol Singing
Dads Rock Academy students and staff will be serenading shoppers at Asda Leith with some festive songs on Sunday 18th December, from 11am until 1pm. As well as bringing some Christmas cheer to shoppers, we’ll be fundraising and raising awareness of Dads Rock. Please pop by and say hello if you’re in the area!
