New Children's Hospital! - Tour

We were lucky enough to be able to have a wee tour of the New Royal Hospital for Children and Young People Hospital for Edinburgh today, we went along with one of our Dads and his daughter.

The hospital is amazing, you get a feeling of love and care that’s gone into all the additions. It’s light and airy, and the artwork is fantastic. There’s outdoor spaces for play and sitting.

There’s so much that is interactive and stories behind each room, and piece of art.

My son spent over 2 weeks in the current Children’s Hospital a couple of years ago, and found it hard due to the noise and all the people, the new hospital has got much more space in the wards. I had a tear in my eye by the end of the tour, as you could feel the love and passion that’s gone into it. Here are some photos.
