To help teach with patience and creativity. The role requires regular liaison and cooperation with the rest of the staff and volunteers of Dads Rock.

Duties and responsibilities

• Help support the teaching of the basic fundamentals of music and help pupils to play music and refine their technique. 

• Work with a wide range of participants.

Qualifications and Experience
It is desirable that volunteers will hold a music qualification of HND level or above. It is desirable that tutors will have at least one year’s previous experience providing music and instrumental tuition.  

As our students are aged 7 years and over tutors will be required to adhere to safeguarding principles and are expected to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.

To be familiar with performing as part of a band and be confident leading a group of students in a rock band setting.
